Louise Zierau, MD, PhD

Dr. Zierau has conducted several studies in Copenhagen Ferility Center as part of her PhD dissertation in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen and public hospital in Birpebjerg. During her PhD studies,  Dr. Zierau’s main work has focused on diagnosing and examining asthma and PCOS patients and investigating the relationship and co-morbidities between the diseases. Furthermore she has investigated the gut microbiota as a possible link through the DOGMA hypothesis. She has presented her work at several international and national conferences.

Frederikke Lindenberg

Frederikke C. B. Lindenberg, DVM, PhD, Scientific coordinator

Dr. Lindenberg has been a part of the Copenhagen Fertility Center and research unit since its was founded in 2006 taking part in various research projects both as a student and after graduation from the University of Copenhagen as a DVM with specialization in research and translational models. Her main interests are gut microbiology, the gastro-intestinal immunological homeostasis, inflammatory diseases, prebiotic stimulation of the microbiota and immune system and the impact on metabolic diseases, in which she has conducted extensive research and is the inventor of a patent pending product aimed at improving the immune-microbial homeostasis and reducing the incidence of chronic low-grade inflammatory diseases.
